Closer — not central
Newhaven and the Leith waterfront put many cruise guests nearer Edinburgh’s northern edge than a Forth-side Queensferry call. That can mean a shorter road hop toward the Castle and Royal Mile. It does not mean you step off the gangway onto the Mile. Traffic, coach loops, and all-aboard still set the real budget.
